EU Compliancy

In April 2007, Cliffe Enterprise became an accredited supplier on the Pan Government Print Services Framework. The Framework was tendered through the OJEU Restricted Process which enables it to be totally EU Directive Compliant and the Framework is available for any Public Sector body to use with Cliffe Enterprise as an accredited supplier.

Any Public Sector body can take this and they would be fully EU Compliant whether the contract value is for £1.00 or £1 million (or even higher). The Public Sector body would be fully compliant and would not need to worry about going over the current print threshold level of £101,323. Alternatively if they choose not to use the Framework, and to remain compliant, they would be obliged to advertise in the form of tender through the OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) process as the value exceeds the £101,323 threshold. This would be a protracted procedure and not without associated costs which could be anything from £60,000 to £120,000 depending on the size of the contract.

Therefore by using Cliffe Enterprise through the Pan Government Print Services Framework Public Sector bodies will not be exposed to these additional costs. If required, a Senior Category Specialist for Print and Paper from OGC buying solutions is available to attend a meeting to explain in greater detail.
